The new Cashless Payments Framework is a single lot one-stop-shop offering exciting new technology.

The new Crescent Purchasing Consortium Cashless Payments Solutions Framework launched on 16th May and is contract managed by Dukefield Procurement. This is the 2nd iteration of the framework, offering a one-stop-solution for all cashless payment and software requirements.

Cashless environments are becoming increasingly common, the decline of paying for items in cash has been further escalated by the Covid-19 pandemic. This has influenced all sectors including education, resulting in improved technologies in the market for education providers to access.

Cashless payment solutions and software in schools, colleges and universities are essential for supporting effective cashless catering in the public sector from point of sale to nutritional reporting. Requirements are not just for catering but also other areas such as payments for school trips, uniforms, tuition fees, car parking and much more.

This framework has been developed to enable an efficient route to purchasing new technology for cashless payment solutions through a one-stop-shop. This allows for organisations to procure all of their software and hardware requirements from a single source via direct award or through a further competition process, rather than having to run multiple tendering exercises.

The suppliers on the framework include – CRB Cunninghams, Civica, Pebble and MCR Systems. We are pleased to have a good choice of suppliers that are equipped to provide solutions based on their extensive knowledge of education providers, tailored to customer requirements and objectives.  Suppliers are aware of the challenges schools and academies face integrating multiple software platforms to draw through necessary information whilst also complying with data protection regulations.
