Procurement Manual / Suite of Documents

Our Procurement Manual was developed to provide detailed start to finish information on the procurement process. It is intended to be detailed enough to act as a guide for personnel not trained in procurement, as well as acting as an aide memoire to those who have undertaken procurement training.

The guide includes model template documents that can be used throughout the procurement process from standard successful/non successful feedback letters to full Invitation to Tender documents. Standardisation of documents ensures continuity within your organisation and for the businesses you deal with, thus helping remove barriers to SMEs wishing to engage with public bodies but being deterred by the paperwork.

NPG have tailored the Procurement Manual and the standard templates for a number of Public Sector Bodies and are able to work through the document with you to ensure that all your Procedure Rules/branding/existing templates etc are incorporated into the document.

The manual is designed to be accessed on-line and contains hyperlinks for ease of navigation.

Hosting the Procurement Manual

If you do not have an intranet facility to host documents NPG can host the manual on our secure members portal, access would be in the form of a log in and password via our website.

Costs

There is an initial cost to purchase access and to have the manual tailored, with an annual subscription for maintenance and updates. In most cases the total first year outlay is under the requirement for a formal quotation process.
